Service times

Sunday

You are always very welcome to join our Sunday worship. The main service starts at 10.15am, and we usually gather in the Northover Hall afterwards for friendly chat over tea, coffee and biscuits, which also provides an opportunity to welcome visitors. There is also an earlier service at 9.00am, which is always a Eucharist. We look forward to seeing you.

Thursday

The Thursday Eucharist at 10.30a.m. is a lovely part of the week. It enables one to draw aside from the busyness of life for a few minutes and to experience the presence of God. The Thursday service has a beauty of its own, being a very quiet service with a small congregation. Traditionally it includes prayers for the sick. If you would like someone added to the prayer list please contact the Rev Ruth Elmes at 086 062 1009, or email the Parish Office.

Midweek service at Our Lady’s Manor

Holy Communion is celebrated most weeks throughout the year in the Chapel at Our Lady’s Manor on Tuesday at 230pm and/or Thursday at 1030am. It is a short said service of approximately thirty minutes duration.

Children

Children come into church for assembly and you may notice that they now have a space at the back of the church for during services and they assist frequently with doing the collection. The Founders Day services and development of more children’s liturgies will further bring families together with those of us who worship here more regularly.

Sunday Club

We are relaunching our Sunday School following the success of the trial of a children’s area at the back of the church. It is wonderful to be able to offer this for our children. Thank you to Jill Aston and those who have offered themselves as volunteers. The autumn schedule starts on September 8th, followed by:
September 22nd and 29th, October 13th and 20th
November 3rd and 17th
December 1st and 15th

The Club is for children 3-11yrs and happens in the Gallery Room from 10.15-11.15am.
All children from the age group are welcome to come along. More details if you need them from the Parish Office or the Rector.

  • Monthly Sunday Schedule
    • 1st Sunday – 10.15 a.m. Holy Communion Rite 2.
    • 2nd Sunday – 10.15 a.m. “All Age” (All are welcome at all services – Age is no barrier!)
    • 3rd Sunday – 10.15 a.m. Holy Communion Rite 2
    • 4th Sunday – 10.15 a.m. Morning Prayer
  • If there is a 5th Sunday of the month style and content at 10.15 a.m. may vary
  • Thursday Holy Communion service at 10.30 a.m.
